Hybrid ARM Statistics

Like other ARMs, hybrid ARMs have a payout period of 30 years and an interest rate which adjusts periodically. Hybrids differ in that the first rate adjustment is delayed for several (3 to 10) years, after which the rate adjusts annually.

Like our other statistical series, these averages are derived from our weekly editorial (non-advertising) survey of about 2,000 lenders across the USA. We compile statistics on both conforming and jumbo hybrid ARMs; they are available for purchase.

These free statistics are combined averages; they include both conforming and jumbo loans. The combined average yields a far more accurate picture of mortgage market, particularly those in high-cost areas. Read our Statistics FAQ for more about this.
